Reports can be copied, edited and exported from the system, and even emailed on a regular basis so they simply arrive in your inbox when required. A report writing wizard is also provided to ensure all your reporting needs are catered for. A job scheduler is provided so that a range of routine tasks can be performed automatically without staff interaction – think of it like your virtual Systems librarian!
Heritage Online can be rebranded and a range of tailored interfaces can be designed to suit the different requirements of your users. Single sign-on can ensure that they are always presented with a search interface and range of widgets specific to their needs such as ‘What’s new?’, ‘Featured books’, Live chat and a variety of database-specific search widgets (e.g. EBSCO, JSTOR, Britannica Academic). Reviews, current awareness and list sharing facilities are provided.
Heritage Cirqa is compatible with user management systems (via LDAP,
Active Directory, Shibboleth, OpenAthens), VLEs such as Moodle, Discovery
systems such as EBSCO and a variety of self-service systems via the SIP2
